Welcome to MC Servers. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and LuzLab LLC ("MC Servers", "we", "us", or "our"), the owner and operator of https://mc-servers.com and its subdomains (the "Site"). By accessing or using the Site or any of its features, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1. Definitions

"Site" means MC Servers and all of its pages, subdomains, and services. "Account" means the registered profile you create to use the Site. "Listing" means a Minecraft server you add to the Site. "Content" means any text, images, banners, links, or other material you submit. "Sponsored Slot" means a paid placement at the top of the Site. "Auction" means the bidding process through which Sponsored Slots are sold.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

You may browse the Site without an account, but you must register to add a Listing, vote-integrate, bid in an Auction, or use other member features. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to create an Account, and old enough to enter a binding contract to make a purchase.

You agree to provide accurate registration information and to keep your password confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your Account, whether or not authorized by you, and must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. You may delete your Account at any time from your Settings, which also removes your Listings and associated data as described in our Privacy Policy.

3. Server Listings & Your Content

Listings are submitted for free by registered users. You are solely responsible for the Content you submit and represent that you own or have the rights to it and that it does not infringe any third party's rights or violate any law.

By submitting Content, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to host, display, reproduce, adapt, publish, distribute, and promote it in connection with operating and marketing the Site. We may, at our sole discretion and without notice, refuse, edit, remove, freeze, or block any Listing or Content. Following a link to a listed server or third-party website is your own choice and at your own risk; we do not control and are not responsible for third-party servers, sites, or content.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• submit Content that is unlawful, infringing, deceptive, malicious, harassing, hateful, obscene, or otherwise objectionable;
• impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation;
• upload viruses or code intended to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorized access to the Site or any system;
• scrape, harvest, or collect data about other users, or access the Site through automated means except well-behaved search-engine crawlers;
• interfere with, overload, or disrupt the Site, its infrastructure, or the auction or voting systems;
• use the Site for spam, chain messages, or unauthorized advertising.

5. Voting & Ranking Integrity

Listings are ranked by the number of unique votes received each month, and vote counts reset on the first day of each month. You agree not to use bots, proxies, VPNs, scripts, automated tools, incentivized voting, or any other method to inflate votes or manipulate rankings or Site metrics (including page views and IP-copy counts). If we determine that you have manipulated votes or gamed our metrics, we may reset your votes, freeze or remove your Listing, and terminate your Account, and any outstanding purchases, credits, or Sponsored Slots are forfeited and non-refundable.

6. Sponsored Placements & Auctions

Sponsored Slots place a server at the top of the Site (and relevant search results and category, version, and country pages) for a set run. They are sold through a recurring Auction:

• Bidding. You place a bid for a server you own during an open bidding window, at or above the stated minimum bid and minimum raise. Your server may need to meet a minimum vote threshold to be eligible.
• Binding bids. You can see your live rank, but bid amounts are hidden while bidding is open and revealed only after the Auction ends. All bids are binding — placing or raising a bid is a firm commitment to pay that amount if you win.
• No collusion or bid coordination. Communicating, coordinating, or sharing bid information with other bidders in an attempt to influence the outcome of an Auction (including bid-rigging, price-fixing, or agreeing not to compete) is strictly prohibited. Bids must be placed independently. If we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have engaged in such conduct, we may void your bid, disqualify you from the Auction, forfeit any amounts you have paid, remove any placement, and ban you from participating in future Auctions.
• Winners. When bidding closes, the highest bids win the available slots, ranked highest to lowest, and winners are invoiced. Ties are broken by a consistent, predefined rule.
• Payment window. Winners must pay their invoice by the stated deadline. If it is not paid in time, the slot may roll to the next-highest bidder and your winning bid is forfeited.
• Placement. Paid winners are placed in their ranked slot for the stated run. Slot count, run length, minimums, and timing are set per Auction and shown before you bid.
• Our discretion. We may reschedule, cancel, void, or adjust an Auction at our discretion. If we cancel before your paid slot goes live, we will refund that payment.
• History. After an Auction ends, its winning servers and the amounts they sold for may be shown on the Past Auctions page to logged-in users. Losing bid amounts are never publicly revealed.

7. Payments & Billing

Payments for Sponsored Slots and any other paid services are processed by third-party providers, primarily PayPal (which also accepts credit and debit cards). For larger amounts we may offer payment by bank transfer or wire, with details provided on your invoice. We do not receive or store your full card or bank credentials. The amount you owe is the amount shown on your invoice, in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise. You are responsible for any taxes, transfer fees, or bank charges that apply. You agree not to initiate fraudulent chargebacks or payment disputes; abusive disputes may result in loss of your placement and Account.

8. Refunds & Cancellations

Except where required by law or expressly stated in these Terms, all sales are final and Sponsored Slots are non-refundable once paid. Sponsored Slots are sold by binding Auction, so bid only what you are comfortable paying. If we cancel an Auction before your slot goes live, or fail to deliver a paid placement, we will refund that placement. Purchases and credits are forfeited if your Account is terminated for violating these Terms.

9. Discord Integration

You may optionally link your Discord account to your MC Servers Account. If you do, we store your Discord user ID and username, may add you to our Discord server, may grant a role (such as a "Server Owner" role), and may send you notifications about Sponsored Auctions. You can unlink at any time from your Settings, which removes the link and the granted role. Your use of Discord is also governed by Discord's own terms and policies, which we do not control.

10. Email & Communications

We send transactional emails related to your Account and purchases (for example, invoices and account notices); these are part of the service and are sent as needed to operate your Account. We may also send occasional announcements about the Site and Sponsored Auctions. You can opt out of announcement emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in those messages.

11. Intellectual Property

The Site, including its design, code, logos, and branding (excluding user-submitted Content), is owned by LuzLab LLC and protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works of the Site or its branding without our written permission. You retain ownership of your Content, subject to the license you grant us in Section 3.

12. Trademarks & Non-Affiliation

MC Servers is an independent, fan-made website and is not an official Minecraft product. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, associated with, or authorized by Mojang Studios, Mojang Synergies AB, Microsoft Corporation, or any of their subsidiaries or affiliates. Any reference to "Minecraft" is nominative and descriptive only, used to identify the game that the listed servers are for.

"Minecraft" is a trademark of Mojang Synergies AB and/or Microsoft Corporation. "Mojang", "Microsoft", and related names, logos, and marks are the property of their respective owners. All other trademarks, service marks, product names, and company names or logos that appear on the Site are the property of their respective owners, and their use does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement by them.

Server listings are submitted by independent users and are not verified, operated, or endorsed by Mojang or Microsoft, and we do not represent any listed server as official or approved. We use the Minecraft name in accordance with Mojang's brand and asset usage guidelines. If you are a rights holder and believe any use on the Site is improper, please contact us (see Copyright Complaints) and we will address it promptly.

13. Copyright Complaints

We respect intellectual-property rights. If you believe Content on the Site infringes your copyright or trademark, contact us through our Contact page with a description of the work, the location of the material on the Site, your contact information, and a statement of good-faith belief that the use is unauthorized. We will review and remove infringing material where appropriate, and may disable Listings or Accounts of repeat infringers.

14. Third-Party Services

The Site relies on and links to third-party services, including PayPal (payments), Discord (account linking and notifications), our email provider(s), Cloudflare (security and delivery), and analytics tools. Those third parties are governed by their own terms and policies, and we are not responsible or liable for them or for your dealings with any third party.

15. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your Account or any Listing, and remove any Content, at any time and for any reason, including violation of these Terms, with or without notice. You may stop using the Site and delete your Account at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Content license, disclaimers, liability limits, and indemnity) survive.

16. Disclaimers

THE SITE AND ALL SERVICES AND CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" AT YOUR OWN RISK. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR ACCURATE. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

17. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LUZLAB LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO your use of or inability to use the Site, any transaction through the Site, unauthorized access to your data, or the conduct of any third party. To the extent our liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for any claim relating to a paid service is limited to the amount you paid us for that service.

18. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LuzLab LLC and its owners, officers, employees, agents, and partners from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Site, your Content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of the rights of any third party.

19. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which LuzLab LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You agree that any dispute will be resolved in the courts located in that jurisdiction, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have that cannot be waived under applicable law.

20. General Provisions

• Entire agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Site and supersede any prior agreements on that subject.
• Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full effect, and the invalid provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law.
• No waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
• Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your Account without our consent. We may assign them, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
• Force majeure. We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including outages, attacks, third-party service failures, or acts of God.
• Electronic communications. You consent to receive notices and communications from us electronically (by email or posted on the Site), and agree they satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.

21. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above, and material changes may be announced on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
