Welcome to the Hurdy Gurdy Gang!
We're a brand-new Towny server built around one idea: Towny with PVP kept front and center.
Towny is my favorite Minecraft gamemode, but I always felt it ran a little too safe and repetitive. Upon joining the Hurdy Gurdy Gang, you'll be greeted with something more original: a server that keeps everything fun about growing your town or empire but doesn't let you hide from the world while you do it. Nation battles and PVP aren't just allowed here, they're encouraged. Hostile mob spawning is also kept on inside towns for a bit of added difficulty even when you're home.
PVP isn't the only way to play though. You'll be dropped into a world seeded with custom structures: dungeons, ruins, and hidden sites that blend right into the terrain, many defended by original custom mobs made just for this server, with more on the way as we grow. Level up with McMMO and Jobs, and buy and sell with custom NPC shopkeepers through Citizens.
This is a new world, and it's yours to shape. Stake your claim, build your town, and help grow the Gang from the ground up.
